Yes. Malicious cloud activity can look normal.

An attacker may use stolen session tokens, familiar applications, the victim’s device or a connection from the same region.

They may act slowly, access only a few files or imitate ordinary working patterns.

A compromised account may continue to show legitimate user activity alongside the attacker’s activity.

A normal-looking login may be followed by activity inconsistent with the user’s role or previous behaviour.

Device and application evidence may reveal that the access route differed even when the location appeared familiar.
