Could Bluetooth remain active?¶

Yes. Bluetooth may remain active even when other connections appear disabled.

Evidential caution: that disabling mobile data or enabling flight mode necessarily disables Bluetooth. On many devices, Bluetooth can remain on, be re-enabled separately or reconnect automatically to known accessories.

What this means¶

Bluetooth can link the device to watches, headphones, vehicles, keyboards, trackers, storage devices, nearby phones and other systems.

These connections may exchange data, support authentication, reveal location-related context or trigger application activity.

Before changing settings, record the Bluetooth indicator and any visible connected-device information.

Be aware that a connected watch or security device may support access to the main device or account.

A nearby accessory may also receive notifications, retain call information or show account activity that is no longer visible on the main device.
