What should I consider with an eSIM after removing a physical SIM?¶

A phone can stay connected to the mobile network through an eSIM even after the physical SIM has been removed.

So physical SIM removal does not prove mobile isolation.

Modern phones can have several line profiles¶

A device may contain:

• one physical SIM;
• one or more eSIM profiles; or
• several configured lines used for different purposes.

The practical point is: physical SIM removal controls only the physical SIM. Verify the device's actual connectivity before claiming isolation.
