Can several people administer the same group or channel?

Yes. Services can assign owner, administrator, moderator and custom roles to several accounts. Shared authority means each management action must be attributed separately rather than to every visible administrator.

Reconstruct the role structure

Preserve stable account and space IDs, role names, permission scopes, appointment, transfer and removal events, and timestamps. One account may manage members while another controls invitations or content. Former administrators may no longer appear in the current list.

Audit logs, system notices, provider records and device artefacts may identify the account, session and device that removed a member, created a link or changed a setting. Record those events rather than inferring action from role alone.

Distinguish available authority, actual use, personal awareness and responsibility. Several administrators need not know about or approve every change, and failure to act does not prove they saw the content. Consider shared or compromised administrator accounts when moving from the recorded account to a person.

The point to remember

Map every historical administrator role, then attribute each management event through its account and session instead of collectively.
