Can one device use several SIMs or eSIMs?¶

Yes. Dual-SIM devices and stored eSIM profiles can support several numbers, subscriptions and provider identities, simultaneously or in different periods, while the same applications and hardware remain in use.

Inventory every profile and slot¶

Preserve all telephone numbers, IMSIs, ICCIDs, IMEIs, physical slots and eSIM profiles, including disabled entries. Record the source and dates each profile was installed, selected, active, removed or replaced.

Provider records may show several subscriptions using the same IMEI. Messaging accounts can also continue over Wi-Fi after a SIM is removed.

Build a subscription timeline¶

Connect calls, messages, data and application activity to the active profile and device state. A stored profile does not prove use during the incident or the identity of its user, particularly where a device was shared or transferred.
