Can deleting something on one device delete it from other devices?¶

Yes. Many account services synchronise deletion, although scope, recovery period and timing vary by platform.

Propagation can be delayed or partial¶

Some services remove every linked copy; others delete locally or move content to a recovery folder. Offline devices can retain an older copy until reconnection. A surviving copy does not show deletion never occurred, and disappearance from one screen does not show global loss.

Preserve before the next synchronisation¶

Record current content, connectivity, account links and device state. Consider providers, backups, recipients and recovery folders. Leaving a device online may receive deletion, while isolation has its own evidential cost and needs specialist assessment.
