What does a mobile call record actually prove?¶

It proves a call event recorded by a particular handset, network or app system, within that source's status and timing limits.

Source determines meaning¶

A handset may record attempted, incoming or missed activity; a network may record routing, connection and duration; an app provider records account sessions. These sources can differ. Duration shows an open technical connection, not necessarily meaningful conversation.

Prove each further proposition¶

Record source, time zone, numbers, identifiers and status. Compare provider and recipient records, voicemail, messages, location and witnesses. Contact names are local labels. Caller, connection, recipient and content each require separate evidence.
