Is a screenshot from the report enough?¶

Usually not. It can illustrate what the reviewer saw but rarely preserves the complete artefact, its provenance or the report settings.

A screenshot preserves appearance¶

Cropping can omit the exhibit, account, source path, record ID, full time and zone, status, attachment or recovered state. The viewer may abbreviate fields, replace a number with a contact label or convert time according to current settings. An isolated image can also remove decisive conversational context.

Pair the illustration with evidence¶

Keep the reader package unchanged, bookmark the record and make an export retaining material fields and context. Record report, device, reviewer, date and active filters. Preserve a clean unmarked screenshot separately from annotated or redacted derivatives, and protect unrelated sensitive information in presentation copies.
