What payment evidence may exist in cloud storage?¶

Cloud storage may preserve statements, receipts, account maps and wallet material absent locally. File presence proves cloud possession at most, not necessarily authorship, knowledge or transaction use.

Synchronisation separates file from creator¶

Folders can contain invoices, exports, card photographs, gift codes, addresses, hashes, QR images, wallet backups, keys or seed photographs. Automatic uploads and shared folders can place content across several accounts and endpoints.

Version, metadata, sharing and access logs may explain origin and use.

Preserve file and account history¶

Record account, path, filename, timestamps, versions, sharing and provider access data. Avoid opening or synchronising sensitive wallet material and use specialist handling for keys or seed phrases.

Compare cloud records with local endpoints, communications and transactions. Report possession, creation, access, sharing and proven use separately.
